When will I receive my photos?
Within two business days of the shoot you will receive a secure Google Drive link with your completed gallery. If there are any delays during the editing process, I will notify you by email.
When will I receive my video content?
Within seven business days of the shoot you will receive a secure Google Drive link with your completed video. If there are any delays during the editing process I will notify you by email.
How many images will I receive?
Depending upon the size of your space, you will receive between 50 and 150 images, with smaller properties on the lower end of that range.
How long will you be on location?
Session times can vary from 4 to 10 hours depending upon the size and complexity of your space. I set aside a full day to photograph your property, which includes extra time if needed.
What if the forecast calls for rain on the day of the shoot?
The weather in East Tennessee can be very unpredictable. I will email you one day before the scheduled session to determine whether you wish to proceed or not.
What if it rains during the shoot?
I will reach out to you at the provided contact phone number to ask if you wish for me to continue the session, or if you prefer to reschedule for a later date. Please note, there will be an additional trip fee of 20% of the full cost of the session applied if I need to return to the property. Please also be aware that if it is raining, I will not be able to capture any drone photos or exterior spaces without rain cover.
Can I get my retainer back if the shoot is rained out?
You can choose to reschedule to a later date and your retainer will be credited to that future session. If you choose not to reschedule, as long as I have not already arrived at the property, you will receive a full refund if the session is rained out.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
Reschedule requests made in writing at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the scheduled shoot will be accommodated at a mutually convenient date. Any reschedule made fewer than seven (7) calendar days before the shoot will result in forfeiture of the 20% Retainer fee.
What if I need to cancel a session?
Cancellation requests made in writing at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the scheduled shoot will be granted a full refund of the paid Retainer. Any cancellation requests made fewer than seven (7) calendar days prior to the scheduled shoot will result in the forfeiture of the paid Retainer.
Do you offer any staging services?
Yes. Using only on-site items I set the dining table with plates and coffee station with mugs. I arrange pool towels and floats. I make game tables and outdoor games, such as mini-golf and corn hole, look ready for play. I will uncover the hot tub and place towels where appropriate and turn on sauna lights. I will also utilize on site items such as throw blankets and books to create an inviting atmosphere.
Do you offer staging with food and beverage items?
No, per guidance from many OTA platforms, the use of items not provided to all guests is not advised. If you do provide consumable items to all guests, I can incorporate them in the photos as long as those items are already prepared and readily available on site for me to photograph.
Do you offer virtual twilight photos?
No, virtual twilight photos have an unnatural look to them; therefore, I prefer to just capture the real thing.
Can I be present for the shoot?
To ensure the best possible results, I work most efficiently when the property is completely clear of people and activity. For liability reasons, other individuals such as property managers, cleaners, designers, contractors, or any other personnel should not be on site during the shoot.
Do you ever feature people or models the photographs?
Yes, I have. However, if you would like to have people in your photos this can be arranged for an additional fee. You will be responsible for sourcing models for the session. If you are interested in this additional service, please email me so we can discuss specific details and pricing.
Can I schedule a session on the same day guests are checking out of the property?
No, the property must already be cleaned and ready before my arrival.
What if my property has community amenities?
I offer aerial photography on the day of the scheduled session of community amenities for an additional fee of $100. Due to privacy concerns, I am unable to capture ground level images of community pools, parks, playgrounds and other public areas if people are present.
"Can you Photoshop that out?" (Advanced Editing)
The short answer is, yes; however, there are some exceptions. Things such as TV wires, small holes in the wall, vehicles at adjacent properties or other small eyesores are all things I will remove during my standard editing process. In some cases, there may be multiple elements of the photo that need to be adjusted; for example, if your space is surrounded by construction equipment or has other large visible elements that you want removed. These would require Advanced Editing, which will be billed at $50 per hour for additional edit time. Extensive edits may extend the standard delivery time for your final gallery. Please email me if you have any questions.
What if I have edit requests after the photos are delivered?
If requested, one round of basic adjustments for color, brightness, and contrast is included at no additional cost. Any further changes will require Advanced Editing, which will be billed at $50 per hour.
If you have any additional questions please email me. I am happy to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have.
